The process of cosmetic bottles includes various methods such as injection molding, blow molding, die-casting, thermoforming, glass forming, etc.
1、 Injection molding process
Injection molding is a process of melting plastic particles by heating them and injecting them into a mold, cooling them down to form the desired shape. The injection molding process for cosmetic bottles commonly uses plastic materials such as high-density polyethylene, polypropylene, polycarbonate, etc. The products processed by injection molding technology have high surface smoothness and light weight, and are commonly used to manufacture the outer shell, lid, and bottle stopper of cosmetic bottles.
2、 Blow molding process
Blow molding is a process in which preheated plastic particles are placed into a blow molding machine, pressurized to fill the mold, cooled, and removed to form the mold. The blow molding process for cosmetic bottles uses plastic materials such as polyethylene and PET. The products processed by blow molding process are hard and tough, and are widely used in the manufacture of lipstick tubes, spray bottles, lotion bottles and other cosmetics bottles.
3、 Die casting process
Die casting is a process in which molten metal is injected into a high-pressure mold and cooled to form the desired shape. The die-casting process for cosmetic bottles usually uses materials such as zinc alloy and aluminum alloy. The cost of die-casting process is relatively high, but the surface of the product can be sprayed with various colors, making it easy to manufacture high-end cosmetic bottles.
4、 Hot forming process
Thermoforming is the process of plastic deformation of preheated plastic sheets into the desired shape. The hot forming process of cosmetics bottles is applicable to bottles with regular shape and small thickness, such as basic foundation make-up bottles, isolation cream bottles, etc. Common materials include polystyrene, etc.
5、 Glass Forming Process
The glass forming process is the process of heating glass to a malleable state and shaping it into the desired shape through methods such as blowing and stretching. Glass cosmetic bottles are generally made of materials such as sodium glass and boron glass. Cosmetics bottles made with glass molding technology have high transparency, exquisite appearance, and will not react to cosmetics.
